A sneak peek at life as a Murdoch student

You're at the Student Hub with your mates, trying to decide what to eat.

In typical fashion, none of you want the same thing, so you split up grabbing a mix of sushi, burgers and spring rolls.

Sprawled out on bean bags on Bush Court you start to plan what night you should all head to the tav. It's no easy task with you in the Criminology Society, Nathan in the Bubble Tea Society and Amelia in the Women in STEM club.

Time for your next lecture, so you jump up and take the scenic route through Murdoch's natural bushland - trying to spot a quenda along the way.

After class, you head to the library, your fav study spot on campus, to wrap up some assignments.

A friend messages, asking to hit the campus gym early tomorrow, before getting that much-needed coffee fix to set you up for another day at Murdoch. You'll set your alarm but you're not making any promises.

University is better when you belong.

“I’m surprised at the amount of clubs Murdoch has – some educational, some leisure – which really helps build new friendships. I met most of my friends during orientation and at the Esports Club – we’ve put together our own competitive esports team too.”

- Christina, Cyber Security and Forensics + Internetworking and Network Security

“Overall, the social experience at Murdoch has been great; I love interacting with students from different backgrounds, different interests, similar interests and various courses. The student support service staff members are all very approachable, friendly, and helpful.

- Sophie, Accelerated Research Masters with Training
